These photos were taken at the J.C.C. Sock Hop  in New Orleans. The sock hop is held once each month at the J.C.C. auditorium on famous St.  Charles Ave.  Started in 1989 with less than 100 persons in attendance, it is the longest running sock hop in the New Orleans area. Average attendance is 600 persons at each sock hop. ERIC's Mobile Sound   & Lighting has been the only DJ service to perform at the monthly event, and continues to entertain the new group of guests that come each year. This has become "the event" for New Orleans kids to attend one  Saturday night each month. The following photos are from August 26th....
